Rio is approximately 9 years old (2013). He is about 7 lbs. He has only 5 teeth left in his mouth. 

​    January 2014 update: Rio had to lose all of his teeth. We were able to save those five for a few years but they finally gave out.

    On March 25, 2016, Rio was laid to rest. He was in so much pain from a disk in his neck that the pain medicine had stopped working.

    I will see you again, someday, my Little Man. I love you so much.
